It really is a beauty Chante. It's near the top of a steep climb in Twisted Forest, near Cedar Breaks NM and Brian Head Ski Resort. Elevation is about 10,000. About 100 yards to the right it drops off 1500-2000 feet straight down. It's always a little spooky out there because I usually am the only person and I know there are mountain lions in the area. When I stay to catch sunset, I have to walk out through a really dark stretch of forest, in the dark. But it's really a neat place. You can see all the other great trees in my Twisted Forest gallery at ray-mathis.pixels.com

Oh Wow, this is a gorgeous tree. It looks like you can climb up to go to heaven and visit God.

Congratulations on your sale!

Ray Mathis replied:

Thanks Mary. Sorry it took so long to reply. Was on the road. This bristlecone forest is one of my favorites. It's near Cedar Breaks National Monument in Utah
